1.1 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling requirements for cryogenic liquid tank containers (cryogenic tank containers). 1.2 This standard applies to cryogenic tanks with a design pressure of not less than 0.1MPa and a volume greater than 1m. 1.3 This standard does not apply to the design and manufacture of cryogenic tanks whose tanks are made of non-ferrous metal or non-metallic materials. 1.4 For cryogenic tank tanks that cannot be designed using this standard, the following methods are allowed to be designed, but they must be evaluated and approved by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Boiler and Pressure Vessels. a) Stress analysis including finite element method; b) Confirmatory test analysis (such as experimental stress analysis, confirmatory hydraulic test); c) Comparative empirical design using comparable structures that have been put into use. 1.5 The requirements set forth in this standard are basic requirements. Cryogenic tank containers with the same residual value standard can be applied to road, railway and waterway transportation, as well as the combined transportation of these modes of transportation. 1.6 When using enterprise standards to design, manufacture, test and inspect this product, the safety technical requirements of the enterprise standards shall be reviewed by the National Boiler and Pressure Vessel Standardization Technical Committee.
