Scope
This standard specifies the basic principles for the selection, use, storage and disposal of working media in hydraulic systems, as well as related technical guidance. This standard applies to hydraulic systems for general industrial equipment and hydraulic systems for mobile machinery. The working medium in this standard refers to hydraulic fluids, including mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids and synthetic hydrocarbon-based hydraulic fluids, as well as synthetic hydraulic fluids and environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids. The specifications for using flame-retardant hydraulic fluid as the working medium should be in accordance with GB/T 16898.
