Scope

This document specifies the classification and model, main dimensions, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of high-pressure sodium lamps for general lighting that meet the safety requirements of GB19652. This document also specifies the electrical characteristics of lamps during starting and operation and the design parameters of ballasts, ignitors and lamps used with them. Note: The "lamp" appearing in this document represents "high pressure sodium lamp", unless otherwise specified as other types of lamps. This document applies to single-ended high-pressure sodium lamps with a power of 50 W ~ 1000 W of diffuse powder coating type or transparent glass bulb.
