Scope

This part of GB/T9239 lists the typical structural types of rotors with various flexible characteristics according to the characteristics of the rotor and the balance requirements, explains the steps of the balancing method, specifies the evaluation method for the final state of the balance, and establishes guidelines for the balance quality criteria . This section can also be used as the basis for more in-depth research, for example, when it is necessary to more precisely determine the required balance quality. If attention is paid to the specified manufacturing method and unbalance limits, the machine can be expected to operate satisfactorily. This section is not an acceptance specification for rotors, but it illustrates how to avoid large defects and unnecessarily restrictive requirements. The problem of structural resonance and its dynamic modification is not covered by this standard. The methods and guidelines given in this section are obtained from experience with general industrial machines. For special equipment or special environments, they may not be directly applicable, and some occasions may need to deviate from the provisions of this section.
