- Scope
- This standard stipulates the basic technical requirements for the operation safety of the whole vehicle, its main assembly, and safety protection devices, as well as the additional requirements for fire trucks, ambulances, engineering emergency vehicles, and special vehicles for the disabled. This standard applies to all motor vehicles running on the roads of our country, but not to trams and wheeled special mechanical vehicles not designed and manufactured for driving and using on roads, mainly used for closed roads and site construction . Note: trams refer to road vehicles driven by motors, powered by wires, and carried by rails.
