- This document specifies the product classification, requirements, inspection rules, signs, labels, product instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of helmets for motorcycles and electric bicycles, and describes the test methods. This document is applicable to the helmets worn by drivers and passengers of motorcycles and electric bicycles. This document does not apply to bicycles, skateboards, roller skating helmets worn by athletes, nor does it apply to occupational safety helmets.
