Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of hermetic motor-compressors for room air conditioners. This document applies to hermetic motor-compressors for room air conditioners with refrigerants R22, R410A, R32 and R290 (hereinafter referred to as compressors, including rotary compressors and scroll compressors). The refrigerant can be used as a reference for other types of similar compressors.
