- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of hermetic motor-compressors for room air conditioners. This standard applies to fully enclosed motor-compressors (hereinafter referred to as compressors) for room air conditioners with refrigerant R22 (CHClF2), evaporation temperature range between -15°C and 15°C, and nominal cooling capacity not exceeding 9000W. including reciprocating compressors and rotary compressors). Similar compressors with other types of refrigerants should also be used as a reference.
