- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test regulations, test methods and calculation of input power, refrigeration (thermal) coefficient of performance, volumetric efficiency, isentropic efficiency and test deviation of positive displacement refrigerant compressors. This standard applies to single-stage volumetric refrigerant compressors (hereinafter referred to as "single-stage compressors"), volumetric refrigerant compressors equipped with economizers (hereinafter referred to as "compressors equipped with economizers") and Performance test of volumetric refrigerant compressor with flasher (hereinafter referred to as "compressor equipped with flasher"). Other types of compressor tests can be implemented as a reference.
