Scope

This standard specifies the operating conditions, operation preparation, on-site operation quality requirements, and health, safety and environmental protection requirements for cable-type formation testers. This standard is applicable to the on-site testing operations of cable formation testers (EFDT, MDT, RCI, RDT). The testing operations of other types of cable formation testers can be implemented with reference.
