- This standard specifies the technical specifications and technical requirements for the construction operating conditions, pressure gauge scale, test operation, quality control, etc. of the cable-type formation tester (hereinafter referred to as the formation tester). This standard is applicable to the testing operations of RFT-type cable-type formation testers. The testing operations of other types of formation testers can be implemented with reference.
