This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, product models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, etc. of butterfly valves for water supply and drainage (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valves). This standard is applicable to butterfly valves for urban water supply and drainage with nominal sizes DN50~DN2600, nominal pressures PN2.5~PN25, and medium temperatures not exceeding 80°C.
