- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, product models, requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of butterfly valves for water supply and drainage (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valves). This standard applies to butterfly valves with nominal sizes DN50 to DN2600, nominal pressures PN2.5 to PN16, made of cast iron, and used for water supply and drainage.
