Scope
This part of GB/T 31740 specifies the product classification and definition, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of solid instant tea. This part applies to tea leaves or fresh tea leaves as raw materials, which are made by water extraction (or using fresh tea leaves to squeeze juice), filtration, concentration, and drying. Food additives, food processing aids and appropriate amounts can be added during the production process. Solid instant green tea and solid instant black tea products with food excipients such as maltodextrin.
