- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of green food melon seeds. This standard applies to raw melon seeds and seed kernels of green food sunflower seeds (including oil sunflower seeds), pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds, and trichosanthes seeds. It does not apply to melon seeds and seed kernels that have been cooked through roasting and frying processes. .
