Scope
This standard specifies the food safety requirements in the process of purchasing, transporting, checking and accepting, storing, and selling meat and meat products. This standard applies to meat and meat products business activities. Meat in this standard includes fresh meat, chilled meat, frozen meat and edible by-products, etc. This standard does not apply to online food transactions, catering services, freshly prepared and sold meat and meat products business activities.
