Scope

This standard specifies the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and quality certificates of hot-rolled wide steel strips for oil and natural gas pipelines. This standard applies to hot-rolled wide steel strips for the production of oil and natural gas pipelines and other fluid pipelines with similar requirements by spiral seam submerged arc welding and straight seam resistance welding.
