- This standard specifies the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks, and quality certificates of hot-rolled wide steel strips for oil and natural gas pipelines. This standard applies to hot-rolled wide steel strips for welded pipes for oil and gas transportation and other fluid transportation welded pipes with similar requirements produced in accordance with ISO 3183, GB/T 9711 and API Spec 5L.
