- This standard specifies the technical conditions for the knock test reference fuel n-heptane used in the determination of gasoline knock performance. The products covered by this standard are applicable to n-heptane as the first reference fuel in the determination of gasoline motor method and research method octane number, as well as standard reagents and special solvents in relevant standard test methods.
