Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of handheld digital multimeters (hereinafter referred to as instruments). This standard applies to hand-held digital multimeters (electrical or non-electrical) based on the function of measuring voltage and measuring other parameters.
