Scope

In addition to the requirements of GB/T 18268.1, this part of GB/T 18268 specifies the test configuration, working conditions and performance criteria of the following equipment in more detail: Test, measurement or monitoring equipment for protection facilities of low-voltage power distribution systems; and/or equipment powered by the circuit under test; portable equipment. Such equipment includes but is not limited to voltage detectors, multimeters, insulation resistance testers, ground bond resistance testers, loop impedance testers, "residual current protective device testers" as determined by GB/T 18216 (or IEC 61557) (RCD tester) and phase sequence tester. The manufacturer shall specify the intended use environment of the equipment, and select the applicable test level from the specifications in GB/T 18268.1.
