- Scope
- This standard specifies the classification and composition of mechanical seal circulation protection (support) systems, flushing cooling systems, quenching (purging) systems, cooling water systems, pipeline configurations, auxiliary devices and inspections. This standard is applicable to mechanical seal circulation protection systems for pumps with operating temperatures of -100°C to 400°C, shaft diameters not greater than 120 mm, and working pressures of 0 MPa to 6.3 MPa.
