Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, models and parameters, technical requirements, testing, inspection rules, marking, packaging, protection and storage of metal-sealed butterfly valves. This standard is applicable to flanged, clamped and welded metal-sealed butterfly valves (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valve).
