Scope

This part of NB/T 47013 specifies the X-ray and γ-ray inspection technology and quality classification requirements for metal fusion welding joints of pressure equipment. The metals for metal fusion welding joints applicable to this section include steel, copper and copper alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, titanium and titanium alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. The types of welded joints include butt welds of plate and pipe butt joints (hereinafter referred to as "butt welds"), plug-in and installed pipe fillet joints butt welds (hereinafter referred to as "pipe seat fillet welds") and pipe- Tube-sheet fillet welds (refer to Appendix A). Radiographic testing of welded joints of other metal materials, supports and structural parts of pressure-bearing equipment can also be used with reference.
