Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of water-based acrylic resin coatings. This standard applies to water-based one-component or two-component coatings with acrylic resin as the main film-forming substance. The products are mainly used for decoration and protection of metal surfaces. This standard does not apply to water-based coatings with acrylic-polyurethane resin as the main film-forming substance.
