This standard specifies the diagnostic principles, procedures, classification, identification and treatment principles for occupational hearing loss among Chinese civil aviation pilots. This standard is applicable to the diagnosis and identification of various degrees of hearing loss during the physical examination of Chinese civil aviation flight crews and air traffic controllers when applying for medical certificates.
