Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements for the design, capture, and description of metadata in photographic electronic archives. This standard is applicable to comprehensive archives at all levels, agencies, groups, enterprises and institutions. It can describe and manage photo electronic archives with volumes and pieces as storage units. The management of digital copies of photo archives of silver salt photosensitive materials can be implemented by reference.
