- This standard specifies the bibliographic items, bibliographic format, identification symbols, bibliographic texts, bibliographic information sources and detailed rules for bibliographic items of a single document or a group of documents, a file or a group of case files. This standard applies to the description of all types of archives. For some archives with extremely special contents and forms, detailed rules may be formulated in accordance with this standard. This standard does not cover descriptions targeting fonds and categories, nor does it include methods of catalog organization.
