Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of sodium acetate content in polyvinyl alcohol resin by volumetric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of sodium acetate content in polyvinyl alcohol resin produced by high-alkali alcoholysis and low-alkali alcoholysis processes.
