Scope

This standard specifies the composition and expression method of polyvinyl alcohol resin names. This standard applies to the classification and naming of polyvinyl alcohol resins. Polyvinyl alcohol resins are classified and named according to their average degree of polymerization, degree of alcoholysis, main uses and alcoholysis process.
