Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the overall design of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants other than AP1000 category passive advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants to ensure that nuclear power plants within the specified scope can operate safely and reliably. This standard is applicable to the design of other new pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants except AP1000 category passive pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. The technical transformation of active safety system nuclear power plants under construction and in service can be implemented as a reference.
