Scope: The "Standards for Seismic Design of Nuclear Power Plants" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB50267-2019, and will come into force on June 1, 2020. Among them, Articles 1.0.3, 1.0.5, 3.1.2, 4.1.1, 4.4.3, 5.2.3, 5.3.1, 5.4.1, and 10.1.1 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original "Code for Seismic Design of Nuclear Power Plants" (GB50267-97) will be abolished simultaneously.
