Scope

This standard specifies the hardware design requirements for level 1 and level 2 (see definition in NB/T 20026) computer systems for nuclear power plants, including hardware requirements, verification and validation, identification, manufacturing, installation and commis ioning, maintenance, operation and other related content. This standard applies to the design of new hardware for Level 1 and Level 2 computer systems in nuclear power plants, and the evaluation of pre-developed hardware (including firmware); it also applies to the design process and design verification of programmable logic devices. This standard does not apply to computer hardware facilities used for software downloading and inspection.
