Scope

This standard specifies special requirements for digital computer system hardware (including requirements for redundancy, independence, structure, etc.). As for specific requirements for computer software and requirements for hardware and software in the common field, they can be followed in accordance with GB 12172 " The requirements specified in "Computer Software for Nuclear Power Plant Safety Systems" and GB 12727 "Quality Appraisal of Electrical Items for Nuclear Power Plant Safety Systems", especially Article 4.2 of the latter, are generally applicable to programmable digital computers for systems important to the safety of nuclear power plants. This standard applies to computer systems in systems important to the safety of nuclear power plants.
