Scope
This part of GB 10054 specifies the safety and technical requirements for the manufacture, installation, use and maintenance of inclined cargo lifts (hereinafter referred to as "lifts") with inaccessible carriers. This standard applies to power-driven, temporarily installed construction hoists with carrying units used by construction site personnel serving an upper landing or work area extending to the end of the guide rails (for example, on the roof). It has the following characteristics: - it is only used to transport goods; - the carrying device is prohibited from entering at any time; - the carrying device is guided; - the carrying device can run in a direction at least 30° from the vertical and can be used at any angle between the vertical and the maximum angle of inclination specified by the manufacturer;--the carrier is supported by wire ropes and a positive drive system;--the carrier is controlled by the operator through a stop-and-go control device;- - the carrier does not use any counterweight; - the maximum rated load of the carrier is 300 kg; - the maximum speed of the carrier is 1.00 m/s; - the guide requires the support of an independent structure. Chapter 4 of this section lists the various hazards that may occur during the various stages of the life of the machine identified in this section, and indicates how to eliminate or reduce these hazards when used according to the manufacturer's regulations. The safety requirements and/or measures in this section relate to the design of the lift chassis, guide rails, carrying devices, transmissions, electrical and/or hydraulic devices and control systems. Includes the design of any rail supports, but does not include the design of supporting structures (such as buildings or scaffolding) and any wall mounts. Other aspects such as the design of any concrete, gravel, timber or other foundation configurations, bottom fencing, hoistway protection and upper landings are discussed in the instruction manual section of this section. This section does not include supplementary requirements for the following situations: -- harsh working environment (such as extreme climate, strong magnetic field); -- lightning protection; -- special rules to be observed under special circumstances (such as potentially explosive atmosphere); -- Electromagnetic compatibility (emission, immunity); --
