Scope
This part of GB/T 5275 specifies a method for continuously preparing a calibration mixed gas from a pure gas or a mixed gas using a device containing a single or multiple capillary tubes (gas splitter). The single capillary system can be used to prepare mixed gases with component volume fractions of 10-8~0.5. The relative expanded uncertainty of this method is not more than 2%, and it can be used to prepare industrial gas mixing systems with specified gas atmospheres. The gas splitter is used to prepare a certain volume ratio of mixed gas from pure gas or mixed gas. This equipment is diluted to obtain reference gas with a volume fraction between 0.0005 and 0.9, and its relative repeatability is less than 0.5%. The traceability of the gas mixture prepared by the gas splitter can be achieved by comparing it with national or international gas standards. See Appendix A for examples.
