Scope

This part of GB/T 5275 specifies the method of preparing the mixed gas for calibration by the dynamic volume method of membrane permeation. The mole fraction range of the gas mixture prepared by this method is 10^-9～10^-6, and its relative expanded uncertainty is 2.5%. Since it is difficult to keep the component content of the calibration mixed gas stable in such a low range, the calibration mixed gas should be prepared immediately before use, and the delivery pipeline should be as short as possible. This technology has been successfully applied in the preparation of low-content calibration mixed gases such as SO₂, NO₂, C₂H₆ in the air, etc. When the measurement result of the carrier gas flow rate is the gas mass flow rate, the method of using the permeation tube to prepare the mixed gas components for calibration is the dynamic volume method, and this method gives the content of the components in the form of mole fraction.
