- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, model preparation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, instructions for use and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of dry powder fire extinguishing devices. This standard is applicable to suspended, wall-mounted and other fixedly installed dry powder fire extinguishing devices. It is not applicable to cabinet-type and mobile dry powder fire extinguishing devices.
