- Scope
- This standard specifies the model preparation, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage and instructions for use of suspended gas fire extinguishing devices. This standard applies to suspended heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) gas fire extinguishing devices, suspended hexafluoropropane (HFC-236fa) gas fire extinguishing devices, and suspended haloalkane 1301 fire extinguishing devices. Devices using other gas fire extinguishing agents can also be used accordingly. This standard does not apply to suspended haloalkane 1211 fire extinguishing devices.
