Scope

This part of SN/T 1688 specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, sampling and conformity determination for imported and exported automotive products. This section applies to power-driven non-rail vehicles with four or more wheels, mainly used for: 　——carrying people and/or cargo (items); 　——towing vehicles carrying cargo (items) or Special purpose vehicles; 　——Special operations. It also includes: a) vehicles connected to power lines, such as trolleybuses; b) three-wheeled vehicles without a cab with a curb weight of more than 400 kg; c) three-wheeled vehicles with a cab with a curb weight of more than 600 kg. wheel vehicle.
