This standard stipulates the method and technical regulations for measuring the continuous wave sound power radiated by planar piston type ultrasonic transducers in liquid within the frequency range of 0.5~10MHz. The applicable measurement range of this standard is 1mW~20W. According to the actual application, it is divided into two sections of milliwatt level and watt level. Milliwatt level: 1 ~ 500mW. Watt level: 0.5~20W. The measurement devices determined in this standard are divided into two grades according to the requirements of the purpose of use and the measurement accuracy: Grade one standard measurement device: used as a reference for measuring ultrasonic sound power, used to calibrate standard ultrasonic sources (transfer standard devices) or require accurate measurement Where the accuracy is high, the measurement uncertainty is not more than ±5%. Secondary standard measuring device: used to calibrate commercial ultrasonic power meters, ultrasonic transducers and ultrasonic equipment. Such devices should be easy to move, and their measurement uncertainty is not greater than ±10%. The names and symbols of acoustic terms, quantities and units used in this standard are in accordance with national standards such as GB3947-83 "Acoustic Terminology", GB3102.7-86 "Acoustic Quantities and Units". Part of the preparation of this standard refers to the international standard IEC150 (1963) "Test and Calibration of Ultrasonic Therapeutic Machines".
