- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product sets, markings, packaging, transportation, storage, and instructions for use of magnetic drive centrifugal pumps (hereinafter referred to as "pumps"). This standard applies to pumps transporting flammable, explosive, volatile, toxic, corrosive and valuable liquids. This standard does not apply to pumps that transport liquids containing magnetic substances or hard solid particles.
