Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the magnetic properties of permanent magnet (hard magnetic) materials. This standard applies to the measurement of the magnetic properties of AlNiCo permanent magnets, ferrite permanent magnets, FeCrCo permanent magnets, rare earth permanent magnets and other permanent magnet materials.
