Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of cast polymethyl methacrylate acoustic screens. This standard applies to polymethyl methacrylate sound screen panels that are formed by bulk polymerization in the form of casting, with no or embedded reinforcement ribs (hereinafter referred to as cast PMMA sound screen panels) using methyl methacrylate as the raw material.
