Scope
This standard specifies the pre-irradiation, irradiation, and post-irradiation technical requirements for electron beam irradiation processing of tropical fruits, as well as the specifications for storage, transportation, and labeling. This standard is applicable to the electron beam irradiation treatment of tropical fruits such as mango, custard apple, custard apple, guava and carambola for the purpose of quarantine and pest control.
