This standard specifies the symbols, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine crane slewing bearings (hereinafter referred to as slewing bearings). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of slewing bearings for marine cranes and offshore cranes where the ambient temperature is not lower than -40°C.
