Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and product-related information of offshore permanent magnet wind turbine converters (hereinafter referred to as converters). This standard applies to voltage source converters installed in offshore wind farms connected to the stator windings of permanent magnet wind turbines.
