Scope: This standard stipulates the basic principles of coalbed methane exploration, work level requirements, coalbed methane work at each stage of coal resource exploration, methods and technical requirements of exploration engineering, calculation of coalbed methane resources/reserves and compilation of exploration reports. This standard is applicable to the design and preparation of coalbed methane exploration, exploration and construction, geological research, resource/reserve calculation, evaluation, and the basis for the preparation and approval of exploration reports.
