Scope

This standard specifies the volumetric method high pressure isothermal adsorption test method for coal. This standard applies to the determination of the adsorption capacity of bituminous coal and anthracite to methane and other gases. The determination of the adsorption capacity of lignite to methane and other gases is carried out by reference.
