Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, measurement methods, records and sample delivery, degassing and gas analysis of coal samples, calculation and evaluation of measurement results during the geological prospecting period. This standard is applicable to the determination of coal seam gas content and gas composition by taking coal cores from coal seams in the process of geological exploration.
